Representative Elsenheimer has used common sense to protect Northern Michigan’s values in the Michigan Legislature since being elected to the State House in 2004. Kevin brought awareness and helped provide funding to bridge the disparities among school districts, passed legislation enhancing funding for small rural brownfield projects, secured funding for various transportation projects such as the I-75 overpass and pressed the Governor to designate more recreational trails to promote tourism in Northern Michigan.
Kevin believes the most important aspects of his job are to assist people in cutting through governmental red tape and to create unique solutions to problems facing Northern Michigan. He has been willing to meet with anyone, anywhere, at any time to discuss anything! Whether in his office in Lansing, a town hall meeting, or in a farmer's field, Kevin has helped countless people throughout the 105th District.
